Spring Season is Underway
Please
come on out to the fields and cheer on the players. For many of
the age levels we have posted schedules and local rules to help you
enjoy the exciting action. Simply select League Pages on
the left to bring up information on the age level for your player.

Baseball Bats
Little
League International, under whose regulations Windermere Little League
is chartered, has established rules pertaining to the use of baseball
bats. Recent concern about the safety of bats made of composite
materials (not wood or aluminum alloys) has led LLI to conduct rigorous
testing. If
you have questions regarding which baseball bats are permitted for play
under Little League rules, the best source of information is Little
League International web site.

Protecting Young Arms
Little
League has strict rules around the safe use of pitchers. These
rules are based on recommendations from some of the foremost medical
experts on the subject. To view an excellent presentation made by

Umpiring Tips
Whether
you are cheering on the players or taking your turn umpiring, it is
important to know the rules. In addition to our own biannual
umpiring clinics. Little League International has provided a free
unpire resource center . It contains educational resources,
video clips explaining the rules, and much more.

Are
you new to Windermere Little
League?
As a
chartered Little League we are assigned boundaries that define the area
from which we can draw our players. When new players register
we confirm that they reside within our boundaries. Outside of
our boundaries are several excellent Little League programs.
If you live outside of our boundaries but don't know which
league you are part of please visit the District 14
